Kamala Harris’ campaign chair wanted to replace her as Vice President in 2023
Vice President Kamala Harris’ history was whitewashed by Democrats and their media allies after she replaced President Joe Biden in July.
Kamala-mania took off in the media and she was portrayed as former President Barack Obama in a skirt.
The media openly speculated about replacing her on the 2024 ticket with Biden for years after she became the most unpopular Vice President in modern history.
Kamala’s history as a national punchline and the enthusiasm that Democrats had for replacing her as Vice President was conveniently forgotten when she became the party’s Presidential candidate against President-elect Donald Trump.
MSNBC contributor Toure Neblett revealed that Kamala’s campaign chair Jen O’Malley Dillon was “leaking” to the media in 2023 that Biden should replace her as Vice President.
Dillon served in the same role for Biden’s campaign and was a hire inherited by Kamala when she took over as the Democrat nominee.
She was working as the White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Biden when she was leaked to the media about replacing Kamala.
Kamala’s allies try to protect her future political ambitions
Neblett dropped this bombshell about Joy Reid’s MSNBC show.
It came up as part of a larger discussion about Kamala being failed by the staff she had on the campaign.
Neblett admitted that there are a lot of factors as to why the Vice President lost the race but his sources in the Democrat Party were pointing the finger at the campaign staffers she inherited from Biden.
“When I spoke to elite Democratic people and they kept bringing up the name Jen O’Malley Dillon,” Neblett said. “She was the campaign chair for Kamala Harris hired to do that for Biden. This is a Biden person, a Biden loyalist who in 2023 was leaking to the media that Kamala should be replaced on the ticket.”
“So this is the person you have to go to battle with, who a year earlier was whispering to reporters saying, make you should be replaced,” Neblett added.
He suggested without coming out and saying it that Dillion owning a company that did television advertising buys might have given her an opportunity to line her pockets after Kamala spent $690 million on media advertising.
“When you talk about the consulting class, she has an ad buying company,” Neblett claimed. “When she is advising the candidate saying, you should buy ads, that is personally enriching to her. Right? Now, that doesn’t mean she was doing anything nefarious. She did her job as best as she could.”
Neblett and Joy Reid are allies of Kamala’s in the media.
This is an attempt to pin the blame on the campaign’s failure on the disloyal staffer she inherited from the Biden campaign.
Politico reported that Kamala told her top advisors she’s keeping her options open about running for California Governor in 2026 or President in 2028.
This is an attempt to use the media to pass the buck on Kamala’s failures to help her future political ambitions.
