The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has become one of the most anti-Trump and corrupt agencies in America.
But a day of reckoning could be around the corner for corrupt officials at the FBI.
And Ted Cruz had one confession about Donald Trump’s pick to serve as FBI director that is bad news for Christopher Wray.
Donald Trump’s first term in office was upended by Deep State officials who undermined his Presidency every step of the way.
But Trump learned from his past mistakes, and this time around he is staffing his administration and cabinet with trusted and loyal allies.
On Saturday, Trump announced that he had selected Kash Patel to be his FBI Director.
Patel has been a loyal ally of Trump for years.
He emerged onto the national scene during his time as an aide to former House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes (R-CA) in 2017 and 2018 when he blew the lid on the Russian collusion hoax.
Over the past few years, Patel has been an outspoken critic of Joe Biden’s weaponized government and a staunch defender of the January 6 prisoners.
And now Patel’s nomination has Democrats, the media, and corrupt Deep State officials in a frenzy.
Incoming California Senator Adam Schiff has already demanded the Upper Chamber reject Patel’s nomination for FBI Director.
“Kash Patel has publicly called for arresting members of the media and government officials,” Schiff wrote. “And he is willing to do whatever Trump asks. Illegal, unethical or otherwise,” he continued, before adding “more suited as internet troll than FBI Director, the Senate must reject him.”

Christopher Wray currently serves as FBI Director.
Under Wray’s direction, the FBI has become nothing more than an anti-Trump political police force for the Democrats.
The FBI lied about Donald Trump and put forward false evidence in order to get a judge to grant a warrant to spy on his campaign in 2016.
But creating the Russian collusion hoax was only the beginning of Christopher Wray taking the FBI down the road of corruption.
The FBI also helped rig the 2020 election by covering up the Hunter Biden laptop story.
And it was Christopher Wray’s FBI that sent armed agents storming into Donald Trump’s home as part of his Mar-a-Lago documents dispute.
But Trump picking Kash Patel signals that Christopher Wray and his cronies could be held accountable for their actions.
On Sunday, Ted Cruz appeared on Face the Nation to discuss Patel’s nomination.
“Kash Patel suggested by President Trump as the new leader of the FBI,” Major Garrett said to Cruz. “How enthusiastic are you about that?”
Cruz called Patel a “strong nominee.”
He predicted that Patel will “be confirmed by the Senate.”
“You look at his background, he has a serious professional background,” Cruz said. “He was a prosecutor, he was a public defender, he was a senior intelligence staffer on Capitol Hill, he was a senior intelligence staffer in the White House, he was the Chief of Staff of the Department of Defense, he was the deputy director of national intelligence.”
Cruz then warned that Kash Patel would “take on the partisan corruption in the FBI.”
As for Christopher Wray, Cruz said “he will either resign or President Trump will fire him.”
“Listen, if you look at James Comey and Chris Wray, there has never been a period in our nation’s history where the FBI has suffered a greater loss of respect, where more Americans doubt the fundamental integrity of the FBI, and it’s because James Comey and Chris Wray presided over allowing the FBI to become a partisan cudgel to be used to target parents at school board meetings, to be used to target people who chose not to take the COVID vaccine, to be used to target President Trump and to target the political opponents of Joe Biden the White House,” Cruz said.
Donald Trump is set to take office on January 20.
His nominees must be confirmed by the Senate.
But a day of reckoning is coming for the Deep State.
