Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. became a surprising political ally of Donald Trump during the election.
The heir to the Kennedy dynasty has become a close confidant.
And Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. revealed one thing that shocked him about Donald Trump during the campaign.
Donald Trump’s diet on the campaign trail shocked Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.
Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. dropped his independent Presidential campaign and joined forces with President-elect Donald Trump this summer.
Trump tapped Kennedy to be his nominee for the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
He’s known for his Making America Healthy Again agenda to get rid of food dyes, chemicals, and seed oils in food.
Trump and Kennedy got to spend a lot of time together on the campaign trail this fall.
He said the food that the President-elect had on his plane was “poison” during an appearance on The Joe Polish Show.
“The stuff that he eats is really, like, bad,” Kennedy said. “Campaign food is always bad, but the food that goes onto that airplane is, like, just poison. You have a choice between — you don’t have the choice. You’re either given KFC or Big Macs. That’s, like, when you’re lucky, and then the rest of the stuff I consider kind of inedible.”
He also revealed that UFC CEO Dana White told him that he had never seen Trump drink water.
Trump is well known for his love of fast food.
Apparently Kennedy’s Make America Healthy Again agenda hasn’t rubbed off on him.
Dana White marvels at Donald Trump’s diet
Dana White told former Fox News host Tucker Carlson that he was shocked by Trump’s diet.
He said that not only does Trump love Big Macs but he’s also a big fan of Milky Way candy bars and Coke.
White recalled Trump picking Coke over water when the pair attended a UFC fight.
“It’s six hours. So, I’ll ask him, ‘You want a water?'” White said.
Trump turned him down.
“And then someone will bring him over a coke. And he’ll drink coke. I’ve never seen him drink water. Ever,” White stated.
He marveled at Trump’s ability to eat that way at his age.
“He’s a different animal because I was doing the same thing, minus the Coca-Cola, and I had one foot in the grave—and I’m 55, not 78,” White explained.
The UFC CEO admired Trump’s relentless energy and work ethic.
“He’s an absolute beast, this guy,” White said. “He doesn’t sleep, he works hard, he flies everywhere. He’s a savage.”
One of the most memorable moments of the campaign was when Trump learned how to cook french fries at a McDonald’s in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
McDonald’s has been a longtime favorite of Trump’s.
His favorite meal there according to his son-in-law Jared Kushner is a Big Mac, Filet-o-Fish, fries, and a vanilla milkshake.
Trump reportedly dispatched his bodyguard Keith Schiller to make McDonald’s runs during his term in office.
Politico reported that Schiller would grab Egg McMuffins in the morning and two-Quarter Pounders and a large fry in the afternoon.
Donald Trump’s love of McDonald’s is one of the most relatable aspects about him.
