Democrats are doing everything possible to carry Kamala Harris to victory.
There is nothing off limits in their mission to put her in the White House.
And a Democrat city used taxpayer money for this awful scheme to boost Kamala Harris.
Cincinnati makes signs to credit Kamala Harris for road works from federal funding
The so-called 2021 Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill was a green energy slush fund with some infrastructure spending sprinkled on top to buy off votes in Congress.
Spending on road projects with federal money was intended to be an opportunity to do some free advertising for President Joe Biden in a re-election year.
The Biden-Harris administration has made touting their spending to voters part of their campaign strategy.
Emails announcing that student loan debt had been canceled made sure to mention it was made possible by Joe Biden.
The Democrat leadership of Cincinnati, Ohio saw a similar opportunity to slap Biden’s name on road projects paid for with the Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill.
Cincinnati Mayor Democrat Aftab Pureval and city officials spent taxpayer money coming up with signs with Biden’s name based on an order from the White House.
The Cincinnati Enquirer got an email from the city’s lobbyist in Washington, D.C. through a public records request that revealed the scheme.
“I will note that it would score a ton of goodwill and brownie points with DOT [Department of Transportation] and the administration (this push is coming from the WH),” the lobbyist wrote in an email.
Vice President Kamala Harris joined Biden on the sign’s design after he dropped out of the race.
Pureval spoke at the Democratic National Convention and has been campaigning for Kamala.
A taxpayer-funded campaign sign
Cincinnati’s federal lobbyist Leslie Pollner sent an email to Pureval’s chief of staff to emphasize how the Biden-Harris administration wanted the signs up to let the public know that the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law was “working.”
City officials went back and forth on the signs.
The signs the city eventually put up said, “Future Roadway Project Funded by Biden-Harris Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.”
Cincinnati officials were ready to install another sign before Biden dropped out.
“Future Roadway Project Funded by President Joe Biden’s Bipartisan Infrastructure Law,” the proposed sign said.
Mayor Pureval claimed that there was nothing political about the decision to put Kamala’s name on the sign.
Former Cincinnati Republican City Councilman Steve Goodin disagreed and said this order came from the White House.
“There is no question this decision was political and it was pushed out of Washington D.C.,” Goodin said.
Former Department of Transportation Deputy Inspector General Todd Zinser – a Cincinnati resident who served in the Bush and Obama administrations – said that the signs were political advertising.
“This was a bad idea,” Zinser said. “It gives the idea of electioneering, that they are advertising the administration spending for Cincinnati in a way that makes it seem like you want to vote for those people.”
Three Cincinnati City Councilmen on the previous council were convicted in a federal corruption investigation.
Taxpayer money is clearly being used in Cincinnati and likely other cities around the country to promote Kamala Harris in an election year.
