Anxiety is growing among Democrats about Kamala Harris’ chances in the election.
They’ve begun to prepare themselves for the worst-case scenario.
And a Democrat asked one scary question about Hillary Clinton that had Kamala Harris on edge.
Democrats think Kamala Harris has a losing closing message for voters
Vice President Kamala Harris is heading into Election Day trailing former President Donald Trump slightly in the seven swing states in the RealClearPolitics polling average.
She switched up her campaign strategy after she lost momentum to Trump in the final weeks of the race.
Kamala is hitting the campaign trail with RINO Liz Cheney to focus on attacking Trump over his character and fitness to hold office as her closing pitch to voters.
This has left Democrats scratching their heads about what she’s trying to accomplish.
Voters have heard the same tired attacks against Trump for the past nine years.
Her message appeals to voters who already support Kamala.
She’s preaching to the choir in the final days of the race when she needs to be courting the remaining undecided voters.
Kamala is ranting about Trump instead of pushing her agenda.
There’s still a skepticism that she’s too left-wing based on polling, which is why she’s claimed she’ll appoint a Republican to her cabinet and expressed a willingness to work with them.
Democrats are worried that she needs to be selling voters on what her agenda is and her ability to work with Republicans to win over moderate undecided voters.
Kamala is going after Trump’s character with her closing pitch instead of offering a vision of what she wants to do in the White House next year.
“You picking up 2016 vibes?” a Democrat politician asked Politico.
The Kamala campaign resembles Hillary Clinton in 2016 when she spent the final days of the election trying to attack Trump.
Kamala’s message falls flat with voters
Trump’s campaign and his allies are hammering Kamala for the left-wing positions she staked out in her failed 2020 Presidential campaign.
She’s never given a convincing explanation for why she underwent a wholesale change in belief system after she started running for President in July.
Even voters who are looking for any excuse to vote for her aren’t getting answers about her ability to be a moderate.
Kamala and Cheney held an event in Suburban Milwaukee, Wisconsin where an undecided voter begged them for a reason to vote for her.
The voter claimed to be a disaffected Republican and asked what Kamala could give “people like me” that he could “take with me” from the event.
Cheney gave an answer that shocked Democrat insiders.
“If you wouldn’t hire somebody to babysit your kids, you shouldn’t make that guy President of the United States,” Cheney said.
The audience ate her answer up and burst into thunderous applause.
But the people who went wild over Cheney’s response are already voting for Kamala.
There was nothing for the voter to take with him.
Kamala Harris is running a replay of Hillary Clinton’s doomed 2016 campaign by spending her limited time preaching to the choir instead of moving voters into her column.
