Franklin Graham and his family have dedicated their lives to faith and service.

They’ve stepped up to help their fellow Americans in need after the hurricanes.

And Franklin Graham’s son had one tough message for Kamala Harris that put her to shame.

Franklin Graham’s charity steps up to help hurricane victims in Western North Carolina

Hurricane Helene devastated Western North Carolina after it brought record rainfall that created historic flooding.

More than 100 people were killed by the storm in North Carolina and dozens are still missing.

The rugged terrain of the Appalachian Mountains meant the towns were cut off from the outside world after the storm.

But the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) was nowhere to be found in the aftermath of the Helene.

The Biden-Harris administration’s response to Helene became its own disaster after storm victims couldn’t get help from the federal government.

Reverend Franklin Graham’s charity Samaritan’s Purse has been leading the charge in providing disaster relief in Western North Carolina.

The charity is based in Boone, North Carolina, which was one of the areas that was ravaged by flooding.

Samaritan’s Purse Chief Operating Officer Edward Graham – the son of Franklin Graham – has been on the ground helping in the region since Helene hit.

A former Army Ranger veteran, he compared the scene on the ground in Western North Carolina to something he saw in a war zone overseas.

Edward Graham gives an update on recovery from Hurricane Helene

Graham told Fox News Digital that Samaritan’s Purse hasn’t slowed down in helping the people of North Carolina recover from the devastation of Helene.

He asked for prayer for the victims of Hurricanes Helene and Milton.

“The greatest need that Western North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee need is prayer,” Graham said. “We need a country praying.”

Hurricane Helene’s recovery has become the biggest airlift mission for disaster relief that the charity has ever participated in.

Samaritan’s Purse has made more than 200 flights delivering disaster relief to the Helene victims.

Franklin Graham lost power and heat after the storm.

Cold weather is coming to Western North Carolina and some areas still haven’t gotten power back after Helene.

Graham is bringing generators and heaters to help North Carolinians prepare for the coming cold weather.

He warned that politicians weren’t the answer to recovery.

“The Vice President, the former President, aren’t going to solve the problems of North Carolina people living and serving their neighbor,” Graham told Fox News Digital. “That’s what’s going to change North Carolina here and the help that is needed. So I just ask the audience, be praying. And if you’re willing, go to samaritanspurse.org, you can find a way to sign up and volunteer.”

Graham urged Americans not to forget about North Carolina as the storm fades from memory.

“So please, don’t take your attention off this,” Graham stated. “There’s a lot of work to be done. And if people really want to help, I need volunteers for the long haul.”

“I need volunteers right now, but I need volunteers showing up in January, December, November, when it’s cold over the holiday season, when you’re warm with your family over the holiday,” Graham added. “Think about those in western North Carolina that aren’t.”

People are stepping up to help their fellow Americans in need while the Biden-Harris administration is missing in action.
