The vibe has shifted among Democrats about the Presidential race.

A sinking feeling has set in about the state of the race.

And a Clinton advisor made one confession about Donald Trump that left Democrats on edge.

Democrats’ confidence fades in Kamala Harris

Democrats and their media allies thought that Vice President Kamala Harris was going to put the race away by now.

The momentum in the race has started to shift to former President Donald Trump.

He now leads every swing state but Wisconsin – where he trails by .3% – in the RealClearPolitics polling average.

Kamala’s campaign was touted by the media as bringing joy and being filled with good vibes.

But now there’s panic setting in among Democrats about the state of the race.

Trump has made inroads with black voters, especially black men, in polling but no one was sure it would materialize on Election Day.

Kamala gave the clearest signal yet that Trump’s gains are real when former President Barack Obama traveled to the swing state of Pennsylvania for a rally where he warned about the lack of enthusiasm among black men.

There are also warning signs that she’s struggling among working-class voters who are a crucial demographic in the Rust Belt swing states of Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.

James Carville is worried about the election

Veteran Democrat strategist James Carville thought in September that Kamala had the race in the bag after the Presidential debate.

“It’s close in the polls, but I’m not convinced that it’s gonna be close on Election Day,” Carville told CNN. “I would just say it just doesn’t feel like a race that Harris is gonna lose.”

Now, he’s singing a different tune.

Carville said that he was “scared to death” about the election during an appearance on MSNBC when he was asked how felt about the race.

“The only thing I feel is the election is coming November 5,” Carville said. “I’m scared to death.”

“I’m very, very concerned,” Carville added.

Kamala has avoided laying out an agenda and tried to run on not being Trump.

Carville said that she needed to get her message out to voters because the basement strategy of avoiding the press wasn’t working.

“They need to be sharp. They need to be aggressive,” Carville explained. “They need to stop answering questions and start asking questions. They’re doing all this and sitting down with 60 Minutes and sitting down with Colbert and sitting down — no matter what, if I come on your show, you will ask me the questions. If I have a press conference, I get to ask the questions.”

Kamala’s handlers abruptly sent her on a media blitz of friendly outlets which was a signal her current strategy wasn’t working.

Carville warned that she had less time than anyone realized to campaign.

“Today is gone. You’re going to lose four to the hurricane,” Carville warned. “Just subtract that. We’re going to get blank — you’re not going to get much out for the next four days. And everything, kind of, shuts down the Saturday before the election, so you’re really probably under 20 days that you have to really get a message out.”

The reality is setting in among Democrats that Kamala Harris isn’t going to have a cakewalk to victory.
