Country music is one of the most conservative genres of popular entertainment.

Fans were greeted with a new experience at one concert.

And a crowd at a country music concert got one message from Donald Trump they never expected.

Donald Trump and Jason Aldean raise millions for hurricane victims

Former President Donald Trump has a close relationship with country music star Jason Aldean.

Aldean sat with Trump at the Republican National Convention in July and even got acknowledged by the former President during the event.

“And Jason, the biggest star in country music,” Trump said. “Jason, thank you for being here. Jason thank you very much. Jason Aldean, he’s good. I like his wife even better by the way. She’s here.”

The final concert of Aldean’s Highway Desperado tour was in his hometown of Macon, Georgia.

He and Georgia Lieutenant Governor Burt Jones (R) gave a check worth more than $7 million to Samaritan’s Purse – the Chrisitan relief charity run by Reverend Franklin Graham – to help the victims of Hurricane Helene that was raised from GoFundMe that Trump started.

Aldean donated $500,000 of his own money to the cause.

“My wife is from Charlotte, North Carolina, and as we know, North Carolina got hammered pretty hard by this, so we also want to donate to the state of Georgia and Florida to Samaritan’s Purse as well,” Aldean said. “Obviously, Georgia means a lot to us, Carolina means a lot to her and we’re gonna try our best to take care of them the best we can.”

Trump greets the crowd

Trump addressed the crowd at the Aldean concert in a video where he was greeted with cheers.

“I hope everyone is having an incredible time with the great Jason Aldean, a friend of mine and a real talent,” Trump began. “And you’re in beautiful Macon, I love Macon. We took Macon by a lot, so I like it where I take it.”

The former President praised his friend’s talent again.

“I wish I could be there myself and listen to that incredible music, but Jason has really been a true American patriot,” Trump stated. “One of the greatest entertainers of our time. He’s a very special person with an incredible wife and family.

“Every day his music inspires countless hardworking, God-fearing citizens all across our nation,” Trump continued. “You are the men and women who carry this country on your shoulders, and you are the heart and soul of America, and nobody’s going to say any different.”

Georgia is one of the most important swing states in this year’s Presidential election.

And the crowd at an Aldean concert should be mainly Trump supporters.

“As you know, we are just one month away from the most important election in the history of our country, our economy, our border, our safety, our freedom, it’s all in trouble, it’s bad, and we’re going to change it around,” Trump said.  “So I just say, November 5, get out and vote. You can vote early if you like, but the main thing is to vote.”

“We’re going to make America great again. You’re all going to be very happy,” Trump concluded.
