North Carolina residents rip Kamala Harris
Residents of Asheville, North Carolina – a city that was decimated by flooding – slammed the federal government’s response to the storm during a segment on NBC News.
A woman said that she had no faith in the federal government.
Help has been nonexistent or slow to arrive from the federal government.
“Nobody’s going to help us,” the woman lamented.
NBC: “Do you have any faith in the federal response here?”
Resident of Asheville, NC: “No. No.”

“FEMA is not on the ground there at all, not in these towns and not in these villages,” a resident said.
Another resident said that individuals and private citizens stepped up while the federal government was missing in action.
“What there is, is lines of private planes that have landed and are taking off; they have dropped off supplies and personnel,” the resident said. “See, America is responding. The government is telling us there’s no way to get in, but America is not listening. And God bless America.”
One woman said that it almost felt like North Carolina was abandoned by the federal government.
“We heard that Biden was just, ya know, gonna be flying around — it kind of just made us feel like, as our president, where is the guidance?” the woman asked.

Biden traveled to South Carolina where he boarded the Marine One helicopter to survey the damage in Western North Carolina from the air.
A North Carolina man who supports Vice President Kamala Harris was furious after the inaction from the federal government.
“Where is our f***ing government?” the man wondered. “Where is the f***ing president?”
He said that Kamala “broke [his] heart” with her lack of action after Hurricane Helene.
Another woman blasted the federal government and said that FEMA was confiscating supplies brought in by private citizens.
“What the government is doing right now to the entire state of North Carolina and Tennessee is nothing short of just plain awful,” the woman said. “Like, I do not physically have the words for it. There is no government aid. None. Zero. Zilch.”
The Biden-Harris administration is letting Americans suffer from its gross incompetence.
