Melania Trump stayed out of the public spotlight more than any First Lady in recent memory during Donald Trump’s term in office.
She even decided not to give a speech at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee.
But even though Melania avoids the public spotlight as much as possible, she has always been a strong supporter of her husband’s political aspirations.
One of the reasons she stayed behind the scenes the last several years was to focus on raising their son, Barron.
However, Barron graduated high school this year and moved to New York for college.
And Melania Trump recently stepped out of her comfort zone and appeared for her first interview in two years.
Last Thursday, Fox News Channel aired a pre-recorded interview with Melania Trump, where she discussed everything from her new memoir to the assassination attempts on her husband.
Melania started by discussing her new memoir, Melania, and what motivated her to write the book and share her story with the world.
In a surprising move, Melania took the gloves off and said, “It was time that I tell my story and the truth,” before adding that there’s been “a lot of misinformation and falsehoods written about me.”
Host Ainsley Earhardt asked how she felt about her husband running for President in 2024.
“I support him,” she said. “I know how passionate he is to make America great again.”
She discussed the raid on Mar-a-Lago and how she “saw unpleasant stuff that nobody wants to see.”
“Nobody should be putting up with that kind of stuff,” she said, before explaining how someone went through her personal belongings.
Melania also opened up about the assassination attempts on Trump’s life and told Fox News viewers that turning his head in Butler at the last moment was “providential” and “something was watching over him.”
She blasted the Secret Service over the second assassination attempt and wondered, “Why didn’t they sweep the golf course?”
But then she took the gloves off on Democrats and the left-wing media for “branding him as a threat to democracy” and “calling him vile names.”
“They’re only fueling a toxic atmosphere,” Melania said.
“And all of these people that they wanted to harm,” she continued, before adding that “this needs to stop.”
She praised her husband as a “family man” who “loves his family.”
That’s why she doesn’t understand the nasty attacks on her husband.
“This is not normal,” she declared.
Melania is right.
This type of behavior is not normal.
But Democrats and the left-wing press are sickened with Trump Derangement Syndrome.
