It takes a lot to stun liberal comedian Bill Maher.

Maher knew something went very wrong.

And Bill Maher realized Democrats have one very bad problem on their hands.

Bill Maher scolds his audience for laughing at Trump assassination attempt

Bill Maher wasn’t happy with how his audience reacted to the news of a second assassination attempt against Donald Trump.

Maher began the monologue for the latest episode of his Real Time show by saying a Kamala Harris supporter attempted to kill Donald Trump at his golf course over Trump’s opposition to the war in Ukraine.

“So let’s not bury the lead. The big story this week, they are trying to shoot Trump again. Let’s not–.” Maher began.

The audience then began laughing.

This upset Maher and he told the audience so.

“Okay? I’m being serious. This is the second time this happened. I said this before. There can be no fuzz on this. This is not funny! Okay? So. Okay. So, look, it’s not okay to wish it happened,” Maher stated.

That only caused the audience to laugh again.

“Well, this is a problem,” Maher responded.

Maher calls out political violence

Maher told his audience that they didn’t need to like Trump politically to understand matters were getting out of control.

“Well, I mean, look, this happens too frequently. I’m sorry this happened on the golf course. The guy was laying in wait and it happens too much,” Maher added.

“In fact, besides the shooter, there were two other shooters beside him waiting to play through. This has got to stop,” Maher added.

Democrats and the media don’t show any signs of slowing down.

Members of the press from Whoopi Goldberg to David Frum all-but blamed Trump for the attempts on his life.

“And also, let’s stop this thing. You know, let’s stop this both sides stuff,” Goldberg raged during an episode of The View. “Because it’s not correct. It is not both sides, it is one clear side, and you can point to many, many reports. You can point to all kinds of stuff that’s been reported. You guys have to pull it back. This is not us or them, this is you got to stop doing what you’re doing, J.D. [Vance] and what you’re doing, Mr. [Trump], because you are not helping the situation.”

“Trump and his running mate have spent the past week successfully inciting violence in Springfield, Ohio. Today they want to present themselves as near-victims of violence – in this case, of violence completely unrelated to themselves and at a very safe distance from themselves,” Frum posted on social media.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre even called it “dangerous” when Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy asked if Kamala Harris would tone down calling Trump a threat to democracy in light of multiple attempts on his life.

Bill Maher may have been upset with his audience for laughing at the attempt on Trump’s life.

But this attitude that Trump’s life doesn’t matter flows from the top of the Democrat Party.
