Democrats hate Fox News because it broke their media monopoly.

The Left wanted to shut down the network for years.

And now one pro-Kamala Harris billionaire proposed buying Fox News.

Mark Cuban wants to buy Fox News

Shark Tank star and former Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban is one of Kamala Harris’ most outspoken supporters.

Cuban’s backing Kamala Harris even though he previously admitted Kamala’s proposed scheme to tax unrealized gains would “destroy” the stock market.

This election cycle, Cuban is taking on a more outspoken public role since he sold the Mavericks and doesn’t have to worry about fan backlash.

Wired recently interviewed the billionaire and asked him to expand on his comments about the “boomer generation” – the group that protested the Vietnam War in their youth – turned into a “disappointment.”

“And now you call it the Fox News generation. I’m wondering if you think there is an antidote to that,” Wired asked.

Cuban instantly named a culprit.

And it was Fox News.

Cuban also had a simple solution.

“You buy Fox News,” Cuban stated.

Democrats tried to destroy Fox News with advertiser boycotts.

But Fox News is still a highly profitable entity as it delivers the best ratings in cable news and thus can command strong carriage fees from cable operators.

A liberal billionaire buying Fox News from the Murdoch family would change the equation.

Cuban could let the contracts of primetime stars Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, and Jesse Watters expire.

Anchors would operate under new editorial mandates to favor the Democrat Party.

Cuban is certified rich.

Forbes Magazine lists his net worth at $5.7 billion

And Cuban admitted he would turn Fox News into another CNN or MSNBC if had the money.

“If I had enough money to do it, which I don’t, I’d buy it in a heartbeat,” Cuban added.

Cuban then explained that you would need about $20 billion to actually buy Fox News because its market cap is around $16 billion dollars.

“And you’ve got to pay at least 50 percent premium. So now it’s $22 billion. And then you’ve got to make all the changes, so that’s another $2 billion. You can sell some things off. So maybe it’s $15 billion, $20 billion net. I don’t have $15 or $20 billion in cash sitting around,” Cuban explained to Wired.

Cuban also would like to buy Twitter

With Cuban admitting that buying Fox News is a pipedream, Wired then asked him how what could be done about “propaganda” – i.e. speech that opposes the Democrat Party’s agenda.

Cuban lamented the fact that the horse was out of the barn on censoring conservatives.

But Cuban did say that “for sure” he would buy Twitter in what Wired called a “perfect world.”

Ever since Hillary Clinton lost in 2016, the Left decided that an open and free Internet was the enemy.

So-called “liberals” agitated for censorship so only government approved narratives and news could appear online.

Elon Musk purchasing Twitter in 2022 obliterated those hopes.

But that doesn’t mean liberals gave up on the dreams of controlling the political discourse.
