Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. created a political firestorm when he left the Presidential race.

The backlash from Democrats is pouring in.

And James Carville picked one nasty fight with Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. that he’ll live to regret.

Democrats meltdown after Kennedy endorses Trump

Independent Presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. shocked everyone by suspending his campaign and removing his name from swing state ballots to fully endorse former President Donald Trump.

The thought of a member of the Kennedy family endorsing any Republican for President, much less Trump, was previously unthinkable.

Kennedy faced widespread criticism from Democrats when he started running for President in the sham Democrat Primary against President Joe Biden.

It’s only grown since then.

Members of the Kennedy family denounced him for endorsing Trump, claiming he betrayed the values of his late father, former Attorney General and U.S. Senator Robert F. Kennedy (D-NY).

The most common line of attack against him is that he’s a crank for some of his beliefs.

Veteran Democrat strategist James Carville ratcheted up the smears against Kennedy during an appearance on CNNs OutFront.

He said that Kennedy should be thrown in a mental hospital.

CNNs Erin Burnett asked Carville if Democrats had anything to worry about after Kennedy came out in support of Trump.

“Not at all,” Kennedy stated. “I really feel sorry for the Kennedy family because I will remind them, you can pick your friends, you can’t pick your relatives.”

“And if Bobby Kennedy lived in a more humane country, they would have him in a nice rubber room and you know, three hots and a cot and take care of this guy,” Carville continued. “He has no business being out on the street mixing and mingling with people. But this is where we are in this country. We have a mental health crisis and he’s at the top of it.”

Carville and the rest of the Democrat Party think that Kennedy is a crazy person because he’s backing Trump.

He dismissed the idea of the endorsement helping Trump, but Democrats would have ignored it if they didn’t think it was a threat.

Polling suggests that the majority of Kennedy’s supporters could move to support Trump in swing states that could come down to the wire.

How the Kennedy endorsement helps Trump

CNN political commentator Scott Jennings predicted that Kennedy and former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard’s (D-HI) support of Trump would unlock a new demographic of support for the former President.

Jennings said that young men who don’t like the political establishment, who he characterized as listeners of Joe Rogan’s podcast, could flock to Trump.

“His ticket to victory are these low propensity male, working-class male voters — the Joe Rogan audience,” Jennings explained. “And, you know, sneer at them at your own peril because if they get excited about RFK or if they think it’s, you know, he says, ‘Trump’s okay, we’re gonna turn out and vote,’ that’s how Trump changes the composition of the electorate through that kind of voter. You know you can make fun of them.”

Donald Trump gaining the support of Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. could make a difference in a race that will likely be a photo finish.
