1984 is soon to be a reality after YouTube banned a video exposing the truth behind the pandemic

There’s simply no putting the cat back in the bag.

Everyone knows unelected officials and politicians are using the COVID-19 panic for their personal and political agendas.

And now 1984 is soon to be a reality after YouTube censored a video exposing the truth behind the pandemic.

The past 18 months or so have been a whirlwind for Americans trying to navigate the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Of course, Big Government goons have taken advantage of that to take more power away from Americans in almost every facet of life.

Free speech has been one of the targets of our Big Government overlords who say we can’t allow “misinformation” to spread.

And in the age of Silicon Valley Tech Giants watching and controlling individuals online, there’s almost nowhere that’s a free speech safe haven.

YouTube even decided to take it a step further, outright banning a video from U.S. Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) that simply implored Americans to stand up for their rights and question what the so-called “experts” are telling them about the COVID-19 vaccine and mask mandates.

YouTube also slapped Rand Paul’s account with a suspension for uploading the video in the first place.

The Washington Examiner reports:

YouTube has suspended Republican Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky for seven days for saying what even President Joe Biden’s former COVID-19 adviser says about the efficacy of cloth masks against the coronavirus.

“Most of the masks you get over the counter don’t work,” the Republican senator said in a three-minute video published this week on Google’s video-sharing platform. “They don’t prevent infection.”

He added, “Saying cloth masks work when they don’t actually risks lives as someone may choose to care for a loved one with COVID while only wearing a cloth mask. This is not only bad advice, but also potentially deadly misinformation.”

YouTube quickly removed the video, which Paul’s office later shared on a rival website.

The video-sharing giant was quick to point out their terms of service as it relates to content on COVID-19.

You’re simply not allowed to disagree with their holy “experts” who say everyone must be vaccinated for the virus to go away, mask mandates are entirely effective, and anyone regardless of age is susceptible to the severe side effects from the virus.

But as Rand Paul knows, all of those talking points that are tantamount to the Bible for the radical Left are questionable on many fronts.

The Washington Examiner later explains in the article that Rand Paul is right to point out that cloth masks have a questionable defense against the COVID-19 virus.

Michael Osterholm, a former Biden advisor on COVID-19, said as much earlier this month in an interview with PBS, saying cloth masks only have a “very limited impact in reducing the amount of virus that you inhale or exhale out.”

But Osterholm’s clip wasn’t censored.

So the reality of why Rand Paul’s video was taken down and banned by YouTube and then slapped with a suspension is because of the heart of what he was saying.

YouTube is owned by Google. And Google has time and time again sided with the far authoritarian Left to silence their political critics and opponents.

This is yet another example of the radical Left and all of the cronies in their pockets like Big Tech companies silencing anyone who is willing to stand up for themselves and for liberty in the face of a major concern that we are headed for a real-life play of 1984.
